Online Volunteer

The Officer for Individual Fundraising is responsible for developing and delivering on- and offline peer-to-peer and other fundraising campaigns and contributes actively to other areas of individual fundraising: event organizing, direct marketing, prospect research.  

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Officer for Individual Fundraising implements CAEPA’s online, peer-to-peer and event fundraising and brings creativity, focus and both digital and analog skill to our resource mobilization. 

 

Essential job function: 

 

A. Fundraising  

 

Develops, coordinates and implements online fundraising strategies focuses on peer-to-peer fundraising and online campaigning;

Delivers individual donor acquisition through online channels (social media, online communities, peer-led activities on- and offline), and focuses on core and mid-level donors for English speaking audiences; 

Develops relationships with corporate partners and corporate sponsors for peer-to-peer fundraising and events, as well as maximizes warm partner/sponsor contacts;

Identifies, establishes and develops long-term relationships with participants, groups and associations to maximize participation, fundraising and year-over-year retention;

Coordinates project teams with staff and external consultants related to online, social and peer-to-peer fundraising and campaigning strategies;

Organizes donor and fundraising activities together with individual fundraising team; 

Represents CAEPA at public events and donor events;

B. Backend, Data & Tracking 

 

Ensures streamlined, up-to-date online giving experiences on CAEPA and 3rd party platforms; 

Monitors and tracks fundraising progress using the database; updates, inputs and runs data reports and uses them to adapt and improve CAEPA’s fundraising; 

Tracks and reports recruitment and fundraising activity against agreed performance indicators and targets; 

Ensures adherence to budgets for online and peer-to-peer fundraising activities. 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

 

Fully committed to CAEPA’s mission, values, and objectives; 

Proven skills in professional social media use (optimization, tracking); 

A Proactive self-starter with organizational and administrative skills and the ability to coordinate multiple ongoing projects at the same time;

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from a wide diversity of backgrounds and cultures;

Expert level of verbal and written communications skills in Dutch and English;

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team;

Advanced skills in PC-environment and MS Office, and with database programs.  

Education and experience:

 

Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, optimizing and leading fundraising activities, preferably online, peer-to-peer fundraising and/or online campaigning; 

Experience working in or with feminist movements or other social justice movements. Experience organizing activist, cause-driven campaigns and direct actions a plus;

Task

CAEPA is looking for a team of online volunteers with experience in grant proposal writing on advocacy for our women’s rights and gender equality program. This will enable us to apply for funds to improve sexual health of young people and girls, including through comprehensive sexuality education and ending child, early and forced marriage and menstrual hygiene management, gender-based violence, sexual violence, and female genital mutilation and increasing access to comprehensive reproductive health services for socially and economically marginalized and vulnerable people. Online volunteers will identify potential donors and calls to develop grant proposals. CAEPA will provide the project developed to adapt to each donor's requirements and format. Online volunteers won’t be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors.

Requirements

Interested volunteers must have excellent grant proposal writing skills, but also research and analysis skills, as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Good knowledge of feminism. Should be able to commit at least 10 hours a week (Mandatory). Experience with proposal writing, or even with a particular donor can be considered advantages. Must be a graduate – Master or above. At least 7 years of working experience in an NGO specifically on grant writing

Task

Are you an experienced and professional Grant writer? CAEPA is looking for a team of people with experience in writing winning proposals for National reconciliation processes that promote a culture of inclusion and peaceful resolution of conflicts are strengthened and the most urgent human rights legacies of the conflict addressed, including responsible media. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with all relevant information regarding the situation on the ground. Communicate regularly through emails and Whatsapp.

 

Requirements

Interested volunteers must have excellent grant proposal writing skills, but also research and analysis skills, as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Good knowledge of feminism. Should be able to commit at least 6-10 hours a week (Mandatory). Experience with proposal writing, or even with a particular donor can be considered advantages. Must be a graduate – Master or above. At least 7 years of working experience in an NGO specifically on grant writing

 

Are you an experienced and professional Grant writer? CAEPA is looking for a team of people with experience in writing winning proposals for our women’s rights and gender equality program. The volunteer will help us win grants for the construction of a rehabilitation Centre for victims of sexual and gender-based violence. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with all relevant information regarding the Centre. Communicate regularly through emails and Whatsapp.

 

Requirements

Interested volunteers must have excellent grant proposal writing skills, but also research and analysis skills, as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Good knowledge of feminism. Should be able to commit at least 6-10 hours a week (Mandatory). Experience with proposal writing, or even with a particular donor can be considered advantages. This will enable us to apply for funds to increase economic outputs for women and girls through sustainable agricultural business. Online volunteers will identify potential donors and calls to develop grant proposals. CAEPA will provide the project developed to adapt to each donor's requirements and format. Online volunteers won’t be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors.
